You cycle further southwards in the direction of the
Mediterranean via the
Route Napoléon Bonaparte. This scenic route is
taken by Napoléon in 1815 on his return from Elba. The
road, which was inaugurated in 1932, leads from the
French Riviera to the southern Pre-Alps and is marked
along the way by the flying eagle symbol.
After 1.100 inspiring kilometres and a lot of climbing
you will enjoy the festive dinner at the
Cóte d'Azur in
Nice. You can
quench your thirsty throat with some French wine and
take a refreshing dip in the deep blue water of the
Mediterranean. |
