Bike Dreams feels very privileged to organize an
event such as "Going North Cape". We are in the fortunate
position that we can live a healthy life and that we
grow up in freedom and have countless options to fulfill
our desires. Life is very different for some extremely
unlucky children. They can not rely on a healthy life
and have to suffer from life threatening illnesses. Of
course it would be wonderful if we could help these
children with defeating their illnesses and with
completing their challenges and dreams.
The Kids' Cancer
Project is the official charity partner of
Bike-Dreams in Australia. The Kids'
Cancer Project funds research focusing on finding cures
for childhood cancers with the lowest survival rates.
Half of children with these cancers will not survive.
Ultimately, finding a cure is about saving children's
lives and ending the heartbreak childhood cancer brings
to so many families. Through Bike-Dreams participants
have raised a fantastic $460,000 for The Kids' Cancer
Project. Working together, cures are within our grasp.
"Going North Cape"
is one of the charity challenges in 2017.
Bike Dreams suggests that the riders from Australia participate in fundraising for The Kids'
Cancer Project. Many have done so in the past and found
it very rewarding.

Riders from other countries are of course free to start their own fundraising for charity purposes. Childhood cancer has no territorial boundaries, it impacts children across the world. Together we can make a difference. All efforts are very much appreciated.
