						| The whole route has been divided into
5 cycling stages with an average length
						of 105 kilometres.
We will follow mainly the Pieterpad,
which is unpaved for about half of the route. The
sections that are only accessible to hikers or that are
too technical will be avoided. However, we try to
include gravel roads and other unpaved paths in the
						final route.
The vast majority of the unpaved sections are relatively
easy to cycle with a gravel bike, cyclocross or mountain
bike, although some parts can deteriorate significantly
						in wet weather.

We also offer two alternative routes for those who
prefer to cycle the whole distance completely paved, or
prefer to avoid only the tougher unpaved sections. These
routes run parallel to the Pieterpad and the overnight
						places are identical.

As you can expect in the Netherlands, you do not have to
expect serious climbs, although sometimes a short
						vicious climb shows up.

A GPS is necessary to follow the
correct route in the large number of roads and paths.
The GPS must have the ability to upload files.
